J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College has been fortunate to partner amongst Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden since autumn 2011 to offering students enrolled inwards HRT 195, Christmas Décor for the Home, an chance to assistance decorate business office of the botanical garden for their annual Gardenfest. This year’s degree of fourteen students was divided into 3 groups to decorate the entrance to the Robins Visitors Center, the entrance to the Education Library Complex together with the dining room inwards historic Bloemendaal House. All groups met amongst garden staff to part their plans together with ideas for decorations. Upon approval, students worked each calendar week to consummate the necessary decorations which complemented this year’s theme, “East Meets West,” focusing on the works together with arts of Japan.
