And The Winner Is…Stephanie Louise Boehles

The instant annual Elby Awards, sponsored yesteryear Richmond Magazine, as well as named for renowned French chef as well as Richmonder Paul Elbling, were awarded on sun evening, Feb 10, 2013, at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.  The awards recognized winners from a listing of nominees inwards 10 categories.  Thirty manufacture professionals, nutrient writers, culinary instructors as well as nutrient guild members nominated this year’s finalists.  JSRCC Culinary Arts pupil Stephanie Louise Boehles was i of 3 finalists inwards the “Culinary Student of the Year” category. 
   

Approximately 400 people were inwards attendance at the awards ceremony.  In the end, all 3 finalists for “Culinary Student of the Year” were selected every bit accolade winners.  In discussing the consequence Stephanie noted, “It was a wonderful experience. Chef Miller, Chef Breckoff, as well as Dean David Barrish were all inwards attendance.  I was lucky plenty to run into Chef Paul Elbling for whom the awards are named, which was quite an honor.  I too had the chance to cook as well as serve a dish at the “Heart of Glass” reception since JSRCC was i of the organizations contracted to cater the event.”  Congratulations Stephanie!
